1.) All orders placed on patriotlobster.com are to be paid at the point of sale and cooked one the day of arrival.
2.) Lobsters are shipped live and should not be left on doorsteps, in hallways etc. If you are sending a package as a gift we encourage you to let the recipient know something is coming so they can be on the lookout for it.
3.) Shipping
A.) All prices on our website will be shipped standard overnight next afternoon shipping, unless you specify otherwise. We ship Monday-Friday for delivery on Tuesday-Saturday.
B.) Next day morning delivery is an additional chareges may vary.
C.) Saturday delivery is an additional charge. Some rural areas may require a two-day delivery and an extra rural delivery charges may vary.
D.) Shipments to Puerto Rico, Alaska, & Hawaii is an additional charge and can only be delivered Tuesday-Friday.
E.) We do not deliver on Sundays or Mondays. During checkout you will be asked to choose a shipping date in the box provided. That date is the actual date your package will be shipped. For Saturday delivery you must choose Priority Overnight Saturday Delivery or your package will not be delivered until Monday and your lobsters will perish.
F.) Please do not choose a Sunday or Monday delivery date.
G.) We ship everything Standard or Priority Overnight, depending on your location. Some rural areas do not have Saturday Delivery Service. You will see a red error message with details.
H.) We ship packages with a 'Signature Release' meaning the delivery driver will leave the package if no one is home. If you are sending a package as a gift we encourage you to let the recipient know something is coming so they can be on the lookout for it. If no one is available to sign for the package, the driver will determine if it is safe to leave your package. If the driver feels that it is NOT safe they will bring your package back to the station and the recipient will have to pick the package up. No credit will be given for packages not pick up at the station.
I.) We do not ship internationally or to Canada at this time. Shipping Perishable Food Items is not allowed at this time.
4.) PatriotLobster.Com is not responsible for returned packages that were not signed for and returned / delayed / arrived un-edible due to missing signatures, theft, acts of nature or any other means beyond our control.
5.) Fish & Lobsters and shellfish have natural shrinkage; no allowances will be made for natural shrink.
6.) All live lobsters have a natural greenish/black color; only after cooking do they turn red. The green substance inside the lobster is tomalley. Pregnant, nursing, elderly or ill people should refrain from eating it or any raw or under cooked seafood of any type.
7.) You may place an order for future dates at any time. Please type in the date in the box provided.
8.) Any package needed over night must be received by 12:00 am E.S.T. unless other arrangements have been made via telephone.
9). Upon receipt of your package we recommend that you unpack, inspect & cook your lobsters as soon as possible. Do not submerge lobsters in cold tap water or put them in ice. You may place them in your refrigerator vegetable drawer until cooking time with wet newsprint over them. PatriotLobster.Com is not responsible for lobsters after they arrive. We only guarantee that they will arrive alive. Live Lobsters cannot live long in most refrigerators. Please cook them as soon as possible.
10.) Shipping containers are not suitable for storing product after it has been cooked. Cross contamination from live bacteria could result. Please wash with soap and hot before re-using boxes.
11.). Cooked lobsters may be safely stored in your refrigerator for up to two days.
12.) Cooking directions maybe found on our website, on the shipping box or inside your package is a plastic bag containing cooking directions. PatriotLobster.Com is not responsible for cooking errors on our customer’s part., or the mortality of any lobster or shellfish after it has been placed in your refrigerator.

Returns and Refund Policies:
PatriotLobster.Com does not accept returns of any kind. Refunds will be granted on an individual basis and will be determined by the shipper carrier, delivery times, and or any other determining factors that may warrant a refund.

Gift Certificates for specific packages may be not exchanged for others; simply use the dollar value of your certificate to shop for the item you prefer at patriotlobster.com and use the gift card number of the back of your card at checkout, or call 1-866-4LOBSTA and ask our consultants for assistance.
Refund Policies:
If a purchaser wishes to return a gift certificate for credit, we must receive the certificate along with the purchaser's phone number, via track-able delivery, or certified mail. Patriotlobster.com. will contact the purchaser to confirm, and at that time the credit will be issued to the cardholder.
PatriotLobster.Com is not responsible if a gift certificate is lost or stolen after it is received. However, please notify us if this does occur and we may or may not be able to stop a future purchase on the card.
Product shipped directly to recipient:
PatriotLobster.Com guarantees every product to be fresh or your lobster to be live or you will receive a credit for that item. Your Patriot Lobster package will arrive in either a frozen or chilled state. Packages containing live lobsters are guaranteed to arrive alive. If you are unsure whether your lobsters are alive upon arrival, we ask that you call us immediately at 1-866-4LOBSTA (1-866-456-2782), during business hours, and a representative will assist you.
If recipients have any questions, problems or concerns regarding an order, we ask that you notify us immediately for assistance, or by the next day after receiving your order. PatriotLobster.Com. Hours of operation are: Mon. - Fri. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m. – Noon and Sun. – Closed (EST). Our offices are closed for most major holidays.
If PatriotLobster.Com. has made a mistake on your order, we will replace the necessary items, issue a gift certificate for their value or issue a credit to the cardholder for the amount of the items in question. If you are not fully satisfied with your order, please call us and speak to a representative. We reserve the right to conduct an investigation into claims that are potentially fraudulent. Please do not discard any packaging until you are completely satisfied with the product. On occasion, PatriotLobster.Com. may deem it necessary to have the package and contents returned to us for inspection.
